FLAME University’s Annual Flagship Summit
Building an IP based on the idea of ‘Purpose’
Flame University, the pioneers of liberal education in India established a new platform to connect several stakeholders. This platform was conceptualised in the midst of a pandemic to drive a sense of purpose and transform lives.
The Challenge
The FLAME University Purpose Summit was established to build a medium that facilitated conversations and exchange of views between policymakers, business heads, academicians, political leaders, journalists, social workers, artists, and entrepreneurs.
The Solution
As a University that groomed leaders for the future, we believed that the Purpose Summit could project the responsibility to enable and channel critical conversations, and help its audience discover their sense of 'Purpose'. We identified that while ‘purpose’ in life, or a larger goal is essential, it is driven by ‘impact’.
So whether one is an attendant at the summit, a speaker, a stalwart, or FLAME University itself, every purpose needed to be anchored by meaningful impact.
We gave life to this Intellectual Property through a process of defining its visual identity, building more equity into the FLAME University brand, and establishing a sense of connectivity. The identity elevated the thought of ‘purpose, that takes one higher’, along with a system that evolved to serve the Summit for years to come.
With the year of launch being 2021, it became all the more critical for people to be able to maneuver their purpose, in these unprecedented times. FLAME University believed in preparing students for life, beyond just their academic journeys. The platform was projected to add a level of credibility by highlighting real-life learnings from leaders, who led with example and presented pictures of possibilities.
